WALNUT CREEK CDROM README FILE

Welcome to the October 1995 Linux Slackware 3.0 CDROM, disc 2!

This CDROM contains the Sunsite and TSX-11 Linux archives, which include hundreds of freeware and shareware programs and utilities for Linux. Each package contains its own unique installation instructions, so please refer to those for more information. This CD is meant to be used after your Linux system has already been installed. Most of the filenames are standard Unix-style long filenames, so they may look truncated under MSDOS due to DOS's 8+3 filename format.

You can use the MSDOS view program to browse the files on this disc. The view program also contains our full-word search program. The full word search program will instantly find a search word in any file on the disc. There are also Unix binaries (including linux) for the search engine in \utils.
